WHO ARE WE?
We are THE ARCHIVES. Our mission statement has been recovery, documentation and preservation of art we find valuable. We are currently working with William walker, Straingr No.2 and wlxmn to host their works. If find anyone else valuable then added sections will be made for them.
FAQ’s
Why only these three people? - We onboarded william walker and after working with him, he saw our search and recommended the others. We wanted to throw a celebratory event for them but only one has ever showed up in the same room as us. we are working tirelessly to mend this issue.
what’s with the formatting? - We have been asked this several times and are still unable to give a complete answer. The archives/museum language and astethic was chosen due to our general lack of budget. we are working tirelessly to mend this issue.
how did you arrive at the title you did? - This was one of our more lengthy processes in the creation of this place. It was actually william walker and straingr no.2 who pushed us to have the name. The original was “ARTist ARCHIVES yes.” We recognized that this sounded very robotic and stupid and we worked tirelessly to mend the issue.
What are your future plans? -We intend to continue improving and editing this website until it’s host can no longer support us due to technology imploding. we have found our purpose and it provides us with joy. Our intervention with the general site is being kept to a minimum for greater immersion.
Note: we’re sorry if the text representing us at the archives comes off as robotic/strange. We got about three of us and we let the guy with autism type most of the website. although that’s a bit of a misdirection, we all got austim. None of us are going to change it though, we love it too much.
